3. Any medical need/care for vulnerable person
4. Traveling to and from work, only if absolutely necessary

• The UK Government has launched a WhatsApp service that you can use to get the latest reliable information on Coronavirus sent directly to your phone. Add GOV.UK’s number to your contacts: 07860 064 422.  Send “Hi” as a message to the number on WhatsApp.  A set of menu options is then presented which the user can choose from and then be sent relevant guidance from GOV.UK pages as well as links to GOV.UK for further information.
• Following the Government’s most recent update that all non-essential shops are to close, The Merseyway Team have confirmed that Merseyway will be operating on a partially closed basis.  Merseyway provides access to key services including banks, pharmacies and health food stores.  As a number of services can only be reached through the centre, they will ensure visitors can still access these services and are continuing to support those retailers at this difficult time.
• If you’re in self isolation or would like something delivered, Lynx Taxis are offering both businesses and residential customers a 24/7 local delivery service.  Whether it’s food, groceries, letters, parcels or prescriptions, please call 0161 456 4040 for further info or a quote. For yours and everyone’s health & safety you have the option of paying by card or you can leave the cash in a dedicated safe place for the driver.  As an extra precaution the driver will be wearing protective gloves and maybe a mouth and nose guard.

• Scam warning from Action Fraud: Coronavirus related frauds have increased by 400% in March. 
  • Messages: Don’t click on the links or attachments in suspicious emails and never respond to unsolicited messages and calls that ask for your personal or financial details
  • Online: If you are making a purchase from a company or person you don’t know ask a family member for some advice first.  Where possible use a credit card to make the payment as most major credit providers insure online purchases.
  • Devices: always install the latest software and app updates to protect your devices from the latest threats.
