NEW GOVERNMENT RESTRICTIONS:  You can ONLY leave the house for the following:

  1. Shopping for basic necessities
  2. One form of exercise a day
  3. Any medical need/care for vulnerable person
  4. Traveling to and from work, only if absolutely necessary

ALL SHOPS, PLACES OF WORSHIP, WEDDINGS AND BAPTISMS SHUT AND CANCELLED.

  • Stepping Hill Hospital hearing aid batteries – please call 0161 419 4183, it’s an answerphone at the moment and patient can leave messages.
  • Stockport Council have been working closely with Stockport’s voluntary and community sector.  Please see this link for information and support within your community.

  • Henshaws are contacting all registered service users to offer support and information regarding local services.
  • Information from ‘InterpreterNow’ – Some GPs are closing leaving only telephone support in place. As the UK’s lead BSL video service provider to the health sector they are extending their services to local GPs to cover the crisis.  Call 0333 344 7712 or email support@interpreternow.co.uk
  • WHO has launched a new Health Alert messaging service via WhatsApp.  This will provide the latest news and information on #Covid19 including details on symptoms and how to protect yourself.  To subscribe, send *Hi* to 0041798931892 via WhatsApp.
  • Department for Education has a 7 days a week helpline for anyone with education related queries 0800 046 8687 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday
