As you all know, Nik Noone has been Chief Executive at Walthew House for just over a year. During this time, she has really settled into the role and enjoyed working alongside the staff, Board of Trustees, volunteers, and service users who access Walthew House.
Due to personal circumstances, Nik will be unable to continue working full-time at Walthew House after the New Year. The Board of Trustees did not want to lose the valuable skills and experience that Nik brings to the charity and to ensure we continue to benefit from her skills and experience, the Board has decided to trial a six-month Co-Chief Executive arrangement.
I am delighted to announce that Sandi Marshall will be joining Walthew House as Co-Chief Executive from Tuesday, 2nd December 2025. Sandi brings a wealth of knowledge and skills and is excited to be part of Walthew House.
Rachel Zimbler, Chair of the Board of Trustees, said: “I am looking forward to seeing how the co-chief executive role develops. I am excited to work with both Nik and Sandi as we continue the amazing work of supporting people living with hearing and sight loss in Stockport.”
Sandi will undertake a full induction when she joins. She has said, “I’m very excited to be joining the team of Walthew House, a fabulous and much-needed charity, and I am looking forward to getting to know the staff team, Board of Trustees, volunteers, and service users.”
